A 38 year old man in Southwest China’s Sichuan province has invented an automatic hair-washing machine and also has received a national patent for it, reports Chengdu Business Daily.
The new machine consists of motorcycle helmet, two water tanks and a control panel. The process of washing takes place in two stages. In the first stage, water and shampoo will be prayed into the helmet, to wash the hair. Later, hot air is blown into the helmet to dry the hair.
Cheng Gongke, who invented the machine, wanted to make life easier for his paralysed grandmother. After experimenting for 16 years and breaking 18 motorcycle helmets, Gongke came up with the final design, which he has earned a national patent for it also.
