Resilient communications infrastructure and data analytics software company IntelliSense.io has partnered with KazAtomProm Khazakstan to assist the uranium producer reduce energy waste and improve production.
The partnership will enable IntelliSense to test its Green Smart Mine innovation program on KazAtomProm’s Taukent Mining and Chemical Enterprise, an in-situ operation extracting uranium oxide in south Kazakhstan.
Machines not running can halt an entire system or process and cause a significant loss of revenue affecting product margins. This where IntelliSense’ mining solutions work their magic.
IntelliSense.io has deployed its Brains WSN (wireless sensor network) at the well block sites to collect secure asset performance data over a wide geographical area. Intelligence is then delivered to KazAtomProm through Brains.app, a web-based analytics software application that delivers optimization recommendations to operators in the mine.
The IntelliSense.io Intelligent Mining solution also provides real time production system diagnostics through the application of modern communications technologies and real time data analytics software; delivering improved production yields, reduced waste and the elimination of unplanned system downtime.
Users are able to gather insight into the well-pumping system efficiency, identify energy waste and track mine performance over time. Brains.app also analyses historical and real-time data to deliver predictions related to well maintenance and flow targets.
Prof Serik Kozhakhmetov, CEO of Institute for High Technologies, said: “By analysing the data in real time through modern high-performance computing systems, we are now able to identify energy waste, flow deviations and predict future system performance that was not possible before.
“The Institute for High Technologies and IntelliSense.io are now partnering to roll out the technology solution to mining sites across Kazakhstan,” Kozhakhmetov stated further.
