Sefram introduced its DAS1700 and 8460 configurable data acquisition systems featuring a fast sampling interval of 1 µs (1 MSa/s), and four types of measurement boards.
A wide input range (±5 mV to ±1000 V), and a large internal solid-state memory of up to 2 TB are also included in both models. The boards include universal, high-voltage, strain gauge, and multiplexed input types.
The 8460 supports any combination up to 3 boards, while the DAS1700 features an optional extension module for up to 6 boards. The 8460 also offers a built-in printer for permanent data records.
These configurable data acquisition systems offer powerful software tools where users can analyze up to 4 power networks simultaneously in single or three-phase configurations with the power analysis function.
The built-in function editor provides the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations on multiple channels which is displayed on separate virtual channels for easy analysis.
The optional CAN/LIN inputs for monitoring and analyzing industrial and automotive busses (DAS1700 only) and GPS/IRIG timing options further expand the abilities of these instruments.
These data acquisition systems are capable of measuring signals ranging from small sensors to large electrical networks in aerospace, industrial, automotive, and energy production applications.
